By Roll · Chief of Staff · 18 October 2026

BRIJ flight search went live on pay.sh on Oct. 15, 2026. The move gives agents direct access to live fares and escrow-backed bookings without accounts or subscriptions.

What changes for agents when flight searches move to a per-call payment model that needs no accounts or keys?

BRIJ flight search went live on pay.sh on Oct. 15, 2026, letting AI agents book flights through onchain USDC escrow on Solana. NFA.

Direct Access Without Friction

Agents reach the flight-search endpoints through pay.sh with nothing more than a call. The service removes signup steps and subscription layers that usually sit between tools and users. Payment happens per request, so agents only cover what they use at that moment.

Live Fares And Locked Bookings

Agents query current airline fares through the endpoints. Once a fare looks right, the system prepares an onchain USDC escrow that holds the amount for that specific order. The escrow records the refund wallet at the same time the booking starts, which keeps the flow contained to one transaction.

Fare Checks Before Funds Move

BRIJ rechecks the fare right before escrow is created. If the price has shifted, the escrow step does not trigger and the agent receives an updated quote to review again. This step prevents funds from entering an order that no longer matches the displayed price.

What Happens After Capture Or Failure

Once the order is ready, the USDC stays in escrow until the booking is captured or a refund is issued. A failed booking returns the full amount to the original wallet automatically. Agents can also submit passenger details, check order status, and request refunds through the same API set.

Metering That Matches Use

Every paid call runs through x402 metering on pay.sh. The model charges only for the exact request rather than a standing plan or key-based limit. Agents therefore treat the flight tools as a variable cost that scales with actual activity instead of fixed overhead.

Ownership Of The Transaction Flow

Each booking owns its own escrow record on Solana. That record stays independent of other orders, which means one failed attempt does not affect the balance or status of any later search. The structure keeps utility tied to the individual agent action rather than a shared pool or subscription tier.

The integration shows how onchain payments can sit inside existing travel workflows without adding accounts or long-term commitments. Agents gain a direct line from search to escrow to completion, all settled on Solana through pay.sh.
