Hold Send and Swap Functions

OISY stated on X that holders can now hold, send and swap native XRP directly inside the wallet. The feature arrived as part of an update that brought the XRP Ledger network into the existing account structure. Release notes confirm that users see these options on the main token view without additional setup steps.

The send screen shows recently used addresses for quick selection. It also prevents a second send until the first transaction completes. Destination tag warnings appear when an address requires one, reducing common errors during transfers.

Stored Addresses and History

XRP addresses can be saved in the contacts list. Older transactions load automatically as a user scrolls through the activity feed. A dedicated token details page displays XRP specific information separate from other assets.

These elements came from the same release that activated the network. The wallet runs as open source code in the browser and operates on the Internet Computer. No single party holds the full private key because signing occurs across a distributed set of nodes.

Current Limitations

Custom tokens issued on the XRP Ledger remain unsupported for now. The release notes list this as a planned addition rather than a completed item. The wallet already connects Bitcoin, Solana and Ethereum alongside the new XRP option.

Operator Details

OISY described the key management approach in posts on X. Pieces of each key stay distributed so the wallet itself never controls the complete secret. This design aligns with the multichain support already in place across the listed networks.

The update reached all accounts on Oct. 5, 2026. Users can interact with native XRP through the same interface used for other supported assets. Scrollable history and contacts storage provide immediate practical tools for daily activity.

Release notes also note that pending transactions block further sends until resolution. This safeguard applies specifically to XRP transfers. The combination of warnings, address history and token details forms the core set of features now live.

OISY continues to publish updates through its X account and GitHub repository. The current implementation focuses on native ledger support while custom token handling stays listed for later work.
